Advice on DVT Prophylaxis after Joint Replacement Surgery

    Orthopaedic surgeons know joint replacement patients need deep vein thrombosis (DVT) prophylaxis following surgery. What’s less clear is the optimum means of providing DVT prophylaxis, as well as the duration of prophylaxis.
